This Recipe will make 2 Loaves of Focaccia Bread!
A super yummy and quick way to have fresh baked bread for dinner.
The first time I made this bread for my family, we adorned the top with a snowman made of onions, rosemary and olives!
Don't be afraid to get creative!
Ingredients:
1 Pack Active Yeast
1 Tbsp Organic Sugar
1 1/2 Cups Warm Water
1/4 Cup Organic Olive Oil
1 1/2 Tsp. Himalayan Salt
3 Cups Unbleached Organic Flour
Directions:
1-Sprinkle yeast and sugar over warm water and let sit until foamy. (5-10 minutes)
2-Add olive oil and 1 cup flour, mix well
3-Add salt and the remaining flour, mix well
4-Oil baking dishes or pans well, along with your hands
5-Press dough into your baking dish (about 1 inch thick)
6-Add any toppings you would like and let rest for 30-60 minutes
7-Bake at 425 degrees Fahrenheit for 20-30 minutes until golden.
8-Cool and Enjoy!
Tips:
-Store in a plastic bag on counter
-Can be stored in the freezer (use freezer bags)
-Can be shaped into pizza crust!
